I am as passionate about chocolate as anybody!  

However because of a severe Gluten- and Lactose Intolerance, I never found a truffle I could eat. Chocolate bars without dairy and gluten are now available, but not chocolate truffles. I began experimenting with different ingredients I could tolerate. In the process  of researching products, I learned that many people, an ever growing group, here in the US and World Wide have the same allergies and intolerance's to certain foods as I do and face the same challenge of finding chocolate truffles and confections to eat.

Determined to have my chocolate, I developed truly delicious recipes over the past 8 years, using only natural, GMO free ingredients and gourmet quality dark Belgian Chocolate. For the ganache I found a dairy substitute that will leave the filling soft and creamy. This is the first dairy free truffle in the industry with no compromise to taste, quality, consistency or appearance. 

My truffles became quickly a favorite with my family and friends, chocolate lovers with and without food allergies. At the encouragement of my family and friends I decided to make those truffles available for sale. I launched Amante Truffles in 2007 with a full scale production of my chocolate creations for the wholesale market. Now chocolate lovers with special dietary needs, and health conscious chocolate lovers everywhere, can finally enjoy attractive, gourmet truffles.
